Appalachian Prison Book Project (APBP)

APBP is a volunteer-run non-profit dedicated to providing books and educational resources to people imprisoned across six Appalachian states. I serve as their Volunteer Coordinator and contribute to their blog individually and collaboratively. I've been volunteering with APBP since 2018 and even worked as a writing intern in 2021. My time with this organization has had a remarkable impact on me—I hope the pathos of the pieces below move you in some way too.

An imaginative response to the people who write to the Appalachian Prison Book Project (APBP), written during my Capstone internship at APBP; the first fiction piece published on APBP’s blog (2021).

APBP's take on the "Academic Transformation" process began during the Fall 2023 semester at WVU, published on APBP's blog. This is a collaborative piece in conjunction with APBP's Digital Communications Coordinator.
